Fall Sports Preview
After a strong 2022 fall season, during which multiple programs exceeded low expectations contributing to a Binghamton 2023 Commissioners Cup victory, BU will gear up for a new era of Bearcat athletics.
Multiple programs, including volleyball and women’s soccer, are expected to finish near the top of the 2023 America East (AE) conference after stellar 2022 campaigns. Notably, the Binghamton cross country teams also look to build on their impressive 2022 seasons, as both teams finished as runner-ups at the 2022 AE Championships. In addition, golf will compete as a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC) for the first time in 2023, looking to turn things around. Overall, it should be an exciting fall for BU Athletics as they look to repeat as Commissioner’s Cup champions.
