Agriculture and Nutrition Act of 2018 (HR 2) — Tenney voted for the Agriculture and Nutrition Act on June 21, 2018. The bill, which was passed, provided funding for conservation, trade and international food aid, nutrition assistance, farm credit, rural development, research and extension activities and forestry. It also proposed modifying the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), previously known as the Food Stamp Program.

Securing America’s Future Act of 2018 (HR 4760) — Tenney voted for the Securing America’s Future Act on June 21, 2018. The bill, which failed, proposed funding a border wall, limiting legal immigration, allowing Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, also known as DACA, recipients to apply for legal status and preventing the separation of families at the border.

Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (HR 1) — Tenney voted for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on Nov. 16, 2017. The bill, which was passed, encompassed the Republican Party’s tax reform plan and amended the Internal Revenue Code to reduce tax rates. It also modified policies, credits and deductions for individuals and businesses.

Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (HR 36) — Tenney voted for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act on Oct. 3, 2017. The bill, which was passed, changed federal criminal code to make performing or attempting to perform an abortion on fetuses 20 weeks or more past fertilization a crime. Abortions that are necessary to save the life of the pregnant woman or on pregnancies that are a result of rape or incest are exempted.

Disaster Relief Appropriations Act, 2017 (HR 601) — Tenney voted for the Disaster Relief Appropriations Act on Sept. 6, 2017. The bill, which was passed, provided $7.85 billion for disaster relief requirements and helped fund relief and recovery efforts for Hurricane Harvey.

Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (HR 3364) — Tenney voted for the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act on July 25, 2017. The bill, which was passed, approved congressional review to implement measures to counter aggression from Iran, the Russian Federation and North Korea.

No Sanctuary for Criminals Act (HR 3003) — Tenney voted for the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act on June 29, 2017. The bill, which was passed, authorized the federal government to withhold funds from states and localities that chose not to follow federal immigration laws.

Kate’s Law (HR 3004) — Tenney voted for Kate’s Law on June 29, 2017. The bill, which was passed, increased criminal penalties for individuals in the country illegally who were previously convicted of a crime and deported.

Financial CHOICE Act of 2017 (HR 10) — Tenney voted for the Financial CHOICE Act on June 8, 2017. The bill, which was passed, amended several financial reform acts, including the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

American Health Care Act of 2017 (HR 1628) — Tenney voted for the American Health Care Act on May 4, 2017. The bill, which was passed, modified the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
