Antonio Delgado is the incumbent Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor. Delgado has served as lieutenant governor of New York state since being appointed by Gov. Kathy Hochul this past May. Before becoming lieutenant governor, Delgado served in the U.S. House representing New York’s 19th Congressional District. There, Delgado was the chairman of the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Commodity Exchanges, Energy and Credit as well as the House Small Business Committee and Transportation and the Infrastructure Committee.
