FRIDAY, NOV. 5, 2:05 a.m. ‘ Patrol responded to a report of a 19-year-old intoxicated male in the basement of Dickinson Community’s Johnson Hall, said Investigator Dennis P. Bush of Binghamton’s New York State University Police. A third party and friend of the intoxicated male led officers to the bathroom, where the male was vomiting into the toilet. This made communicating with the individual very difficult, but the third party explained to officers that the intoxicated person had been drinking Jack Daniel’s in his room. Harpur’s Ferry arrived to transport the individual to UHS Binghamton General Hospital, and no further action was taken.

SUNDAY, NOV. 7, 2:09 a.m. ‘ A 28-year-old male employee flagged down patrol outside of the Lecture Hall building whereupon he told them, ‘You got me, take me home,’ Bush said. The suspect was propped against the outer door of the Lecture Hall building and appeared to be extremely intoxicated. He admitted to officers that he had been drinking with friends Downtown and, although he tried contacting them, he could not find anyone to take him home. Officers attempted to take a breath sample from the man, but stopped after four failed attempts. The suspect agreed to receive medical treatment, but was belligerent and uncooperative while on the Harpur’s Ferry ambulance to UHS Binghamton General Hospital and attempted repeatedly, but unsuccessfully, to remove his restraints. When the ambulance arrived, he stated he could walk to the main building, but when the EMTs opened the ambulance he ran out and attempted to escape, only to be subdued by hospital staff to be administered treatment.

SUNDAY, NOV. 7, 1:42 p.m. ‘ After parking his car in Lot Q1 across from the Old University Union on Saturday, a 22-year-old male observed three small marks on his passenger’s side rear door, Bush said. He stated that he wished to make a report of the incident just to have a paper trail in case anything else occurs. Police have no suspects.
