Chicago (-14) over Miami

This could be a good matchup — two unbeaten teams squaring off, trying to make history. I don’t know why the Dolphins are starting Joey Harrington over Bob Griese, though. Wait, you mean this isn’t the ’72 Dolphins? Yeeesh. If anyone challenges Chicago’s unbeaten streak, it’s going to be Eli and the Giants, not Joey and the Fins.

Washington (+3) over Dallas

With Eastern Michigan’s Tony Romo at the helms for Dallas, it’s official — the MAC is taking over the NFL. Don’t be surprised when the Raiders sign a QB from SUNY Buffalo just to follow the crowd. With that aside, as good as Romo looked last week, it’s extremely tough for a quarterback with one NFL start under his belt to win in a place like Washington.

Denver (+2.5) over Pittsburgh

Whose idea was it to make Denver the underdog here? Listen, I know quarterbacks from the MAC are the new cool thing, but people have to understand that the Ben Roethlisberger, who has suited up this year for the Steelers, is an imposter, and the real Big Ben is locked in some basement in Baltimore being forced to watch old seasons of “The Wire.”

St. Louis (-3) over Kansas City

Rams! Chiefs! It’s the battle of Missouri — feel the excitement! It’s been nine years since the Chiefs head up to St. Louis, and if the fans are as passionate about football as they are about baseball, expect them to be loud and make life miserable for Brock Huard … I mean, Damon Huard.
