Lock: Giants (+4) over Dallas
I hate the Giants, no lie. But my gut tells me, particularly coming off three straight losses, that the Giants are going to pull out a win in their most pivotal game this season. Tony Romo, as good as he has been, has to be playing over his head. The Giants are not a Super Bowl team, but I don’t see them letting their season fall into the gutter like this. The popular pick in this game is Dallas, but I don’t see this one playing out in the eventual NFC champion Cowboys’ favor.
Upset: Baltimore (+3) over Cincinnati
The Ravens are still underdogs at 9-2. Incredible. The first-place Ravens beat the second-place Bungles by six in week nine, and even though they’re on the road this time, the Ravens are too easy a pick.
Game 1: Jets (–1 1/2) over Green Bay
This week the Jets are favorites and the Giants are underdogs; it’s a beautiful time for Jets fans in a season that many expected would be dismal for Gang Green and amazing for Big Blue. Both teams have equivalent records, and here’s to believing that the 6-5 Jets can brave the Frozen Tundra and pull out a win against the 4-7 Packers.
Game 2: Houston (+3) over Oakland
Both teams have bad records, but the Texans have played significantly better than their 3-8 record. The Raiders, despite being at home, are the inferior team, whatever the oddsmakers say.
