One individual was arrested in connection with the attack of three Binghamton University students at Hawley and Exchange Street last month.

Becca Lisoski, one of the three students assaulted, said the police and Mayor’s office contacted her yesterday to report the arrest.

The alleged attacker Chelsea Kuzda, 21, is being charged with attempted assault three. Lisoski said that the reward offered helped with the process, since a confidential informant called the police with information that led to the arrest.

“Im ecstatic that the police kept up with the case and that they were able to catch one of the three assailants. Arresting her will definitely help the other two and will give us all a bit of closure,” said Lisoski, a senior majoring in business administration. “I was shocked when they called because it’s been a month since it happened and the chances of catching them were very slim.”
