MONDAY, March 15, 3:35 p.m. — After receiving a nameless homework assignment with the words “I want to kill you” written on the front page, a 30-year-old female teaching assistant reported it as harassment to University police, saying that she felt threatened, said Investigator Dennis P. Bush of the New York State University Police. The TA has taught the class since receiving the paper and has had no further incidents. Because the paper was nameless, there are no suspects. The case is going through the Office of Student Conduct.

TUESDAY, March 16, 7:10 a.m. — A 60-year-old female cleaning employee reported graffiti with permanent marker on the walls and door of a stall on the ground floor of the Hinman College Dining Hall, Bush said. Officials could not comment on what the graffiti was of, but approximately $100 worth of damage was done. There were no witnesses, and police have no suspects.

WEDNESDAY, March 17, 4:13 a.m. — Officers responded to a report of fireworks set off in the basketball court of Newing College’s Endicott Hall, Bush said. Patrol spoke to a guard at Endicott, who saw three unknown suspects lighting fireworks in the middle of the field and described them as “medium-height aerials.” Police tracked down and interviewed three potential suspects, but uncovered no new evidence. Suspects are currently unknown.
