It’s been a number of weeks since my last diary entry and that is solely because of the success of my fellow athletes. The volleyball girls have dominated Pipe Dream in the same way that they have dominated the rest of the America East. Our women’s soccer team is currently in Boston for the playoffs, where I’m sure they will do better than we did last year. Oh, and of course, there is “Danilo’s Dynasty,” of which I am a proud member.

A lot of people have come up to me recently with concern. They think our season is coming to an end.

Well for me, our season is just starting. For me, nothing beats November soccer.

We have two regular season games left to secure a playoff spot and then the most exciting part of the year begins. November is the reason why we ran those extra laps during preseason. November is the reason why we stare at Web sites all day to gauge the form of our conference opponents. November is the month of the NCAA tournament, which I and the rest of the soccer team dream of playing in.

The winter weather might have arrived in Binghamton, but no amount of rain can extinguish the desire in our team to repeat our magical 2003 season.
