Lock: NEW ORLEANS (-7.0) over New York Jets: The Saints have been money makers for me this season, but the Jets are a tough test. I think Brees will put enough pressure on the Jets defense, and Sanchez will finally show some signs that he’s actually a rookie.

NEW ENGLAND (-2.0) over Baltimore: This game is a gift to Ryan since he is in desperate need of some help in the standings. I would normally stay away from a game like this. Ravens defense versus a patchy Patriots offense, I would prefer to flip a coin to decide this. Oh well, c’mon Brady.

Dallas (-3.0) over DENVER: The Broncos are 3-0? What? I don’t care. Dallas looked pretty strong in the second half last week against the Panthers and I expect that to continue; meanwhile, Denver should come back to reality this week.

HOUSTON (-9.0) over Oakland: This is a small gamble with such a large spread. Houston should have beaten the Jags last week, but its defense was not even close to good enough. Still, the Raiders … well, they’re the Raiders.
