Lock: Philadelphia (-14.0) over OAKLAND: Quit talking about Vick; McNabb is THE QB in Philly. When you talk about the Eagles, you see that their wins are against bad teams. Good news for Philly fans: Oakland is terrible. JaMarcus Russell is one of the worst quarterbacks in the league, the team has no direction and they look out of sync during every series. Expect Oakland to suffer another embarrassing rout.

NEW ORLEANS (-3.0) over New York Giants: Our assistant news editor and I have a monetary bet on this game; he says the Saints are overrated, and I truly disagree. Despite Drew Brees’ lack of touchdowns his last two games, the Saints have found ways into the end zone. The Giants are a top-notch team, so this does have the makings of a great game, but I just like all aspects of New Orleans’ game right now.

MINNESOTA (-3.0) over Baltimore: Wow, Favre has been flat-out great this season. I would like to think he hasn’t run out of steam yet. Baltimore has had solid defense but haven’t been consistent enough this season. With Peterson always a lethal threat and receivers that have been fantastic so far, the Vikings are tough to beat and I expect that to continue.

Chicago (+3.5) over ATLANTA: This will be another great game to watch. Cutler and Ryan going at it makes for some entertaining football. I guess I think Chicago has played strong in every game this season, on top of the fact that Cutler has really shown up in each game since his opening night disaster. Consider this my upset of the week, as small as the spread is.
