It’s that time again. Tyra Banks is once again begging for the answer to her nagging question, “Wanna be on top?”

“America’s Next Top Model,” or “ANTM” as devoted fans call it, is in search of a new girl that will be given the false hope of gaining success through modeling. Maybe this will be the season to change it all.

With a sneak peek at the new season, it is clear that Tyra Banks has officially gone insane. The CW has given Banks yet another group of girls to mold into her clones. After the appearance of several artificial lightning bolts, the new gang of young women continues the tradition of greeting Banks’ grand entrance with screeches, screams and tears — no surprise there.

While their behavior around Banks is nothing new, the 14 aspiring models are certainly different. One contestant is transgendered and was born a man; she is met with mixed reactions from the other competitors. Not to be outdone, another young woman claims to have auditioned for “ANTM” at least 30 times.

After the introduction of the new cast, the girls meet with all of the judges in the second episode and attempt to impress them with their conversation skills. This proves to be yet another ridiculous segment where the ladies run through a fake haunted house.

An election-themed photo shoot follows the girls adjusting to their new house in Los Angeles.

“America’s Next Top Model” begins its 11th cycle on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 8 p.m.
