LOCK: Dallas (-3.5) over SAN FRANCISCO

The Cowboys blew it last week and should be 1-0. I’ll admit it. But this is the 49ers we’re talking about, and I don’t think they’ll capitalize on Dallas’ mistakes like the Jets did in Week 1.

Baltimore (-6.5) over TENNESSEE

Aside from Pittsburgh playing poorly last week, the Ravens were really on their game. Against a bad Titans team this week, look for more of the same.

Houston (-2.5) over MIAMI

Miami can stop the run fairly well but got torched by Tom Brady’s passing attack last week. With Arian Foster on track to play Sunday, it’s really a matter of whether Houston will have a strong game through the air or on the ground. Or both.

DETROIT (-8.5) over Kansas City

Getting blown out at home by Buffalo wasn’t the way the Chiefs wanted to start their season. Heading to Detroit to take on a team that impressed on the road isn’t the way they want to continue it.

LOCK: Cleveland (-2.5) over INDIANAPOLIS

Now’s a good time for the Browns to get that running game going, and maybe a better time for the Colts to start looking for some new options at quarterback.

Tampa Bay (+3.5) over MINNESOTA

Donovan McNabb threw for 39 yards against the Chargers last week. Do you think anyone has called the nursing home looking for Brett Favre yet?

Houston (-2.5) over MIAMI

Led by the combo of Andre Johnson and Matt Schaub, one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the league, the Texan offense should continue to roll this week against the Dolphins.

San Diego (+6.5) over NEW ENGLAND

Look for one of the best defensive lines in the NFL to give Tom Brady and the Patriots serious trouble, and Phillip Rivers and the electric San Diego offense to do the rest.

BUFFALO (-4.5) over Oakland

Buffalo won big last week, who’s to say they won’t win big again? I feel like this is a really bad idea, but whatever.

MIAMI (+2.5) over Houston

I’m picking them every week, no matter who’s on the schedule. Last week, the ‘Phins did me well by not only screwing me as a fan, but allowing Wes Welker to score a 99-yard touchdown that led to a 1-point defeat for my fantasy team. Good work!

Baltimore (-6.5) over TENNESSEE

Baltimore’s offenses exploded last week, and against the Steelers nonetheless. Tennessee should have a tough time getting any offense going, so I’m going with the Ravens. Hopefully Boldin catches a touchdown.

WASHINGTON (-4.5) over Arizona

Arizona SUCKS when they come to the East Coast. That’s pretty much my reason for picking this one. The Redskins won last week, but they were playing the Giants so it doesn’t mean much.

NEW YORK JETS (-10.5) over Jacksonville (LOCK)

Marky Mark and the funky bunch won’t wait until the last 10 minutes of this game to go Jaguar poaching. The cats are in their cradle and the silver spoon is in Rex Ryan’s mouth. Filled with pudding.

Dallas (-3.5) over SAN FRANCISCO

Tony Romo and Wade Phillips used to make such a stellar combination in Big D. I’m surprised the former remembered how to choke now that the latter is gone. Still, I’m never picking Alex Smith to ever win a game again.

INDIANAPOLIS (+2.5) over Cleveland

Kerry Collins passed Joe Montana in all-time passing yards last week. Kerry Collins passed Joe Montana in all-time passing yards last week.

Arizona (+4.5) over WASHINGTON

I accredit Rex Grossman’s stellar Week 1 performance to a depleted Giants secondary and the absence of Osi and Justin Tuck. If Arizona withstood Lights Camera Newton, they’ll do the same with Tyrannosaurus Rex.
