After suffering its first conference loss of the season to University of New Hampshire on Sept. 30, the Binghamton University volleyball team will look to bounce back in two America East matches over the weekend. The Bearcats (5-13, 2-1 America East) are set to face University at Albany tonight and University of Hartford on Oct. 6, both on the road.

Binghamton had been riding a three-game winning streak prior to its tough four-set loss to the Wildcats last Sunday.

The Bearcats are currently ranked third in the conference while Albany (5-11, 2-0 America East) sits in second. As the standings currently indicate, tonight’s match has the potential to be a preview of an America East tournament game.

The Great Danes are coming off two four-set victories against Hartford and Stony Brook University. Though Albany owns a losing record, the Great Danes have played just one game at home, resulting in a win over Hartford.

Tonight’s match is set to start at 7 p.m. at Albany’s University Gymnasium.
