Binghamton University is poised to make the Final Four in the nationwide Interactive Fitness Fall Frenzy competition. The round ends at 11:59 p.m. tonight.

Interactive Fitness is hosting the competition to see which university can clock the most miles on their Expresso stationary bikes, which feature screens that take riders on exotic, interactive virtual tours while they use the handlebars to steer through the course. BU’s Expresso bikes are located at FitSpace in the East Gym.

BU leads the University of Iowa 1,375 miles to 1,160. The other teams in the Elite Eight are the University of Memphis, Marist College, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Texas at Arlington, Louisiana State University and the University of Rochester.

Schools that advance to the Final Four will each receive a set of 30 official Fall Frenzy t-shirts and a $250 scholarship for use in the professional development of recreation staff, according to the Expresso website.
