FRIDAY, APRIL 1, 3 p.m. — An 18-year-old female student working out at the University FitSpace discovered that someone had taken her jacket, which she had left in an unlocked locker, said Investigator Patrick J. Reilly of Binghamton’s New York State University Police. She had left both her cell phone and University ID card in the jacket. There were no suspects or witnesses.

SATURDAY, APRIL 2, 2:57 a.m. — Officers on patrol reported to Mountainview College’s Hunter Hall because of complaints of an odor of marijuana in the vestibule of the building, Reilly said. Officers investigated the area, but were unable to detect the source of the odor.

SATURDAY, APRIL 2, 2:57 a.m. — Officers on patrol in Mountainview College’s Hunter Hall responded to a noise complaint in the building, Reilly said. When the officers arrived at the offending suite, they asked all the people in the suite to show their IDs. An 18-year-old male student who gave the officers his ID was found to have an ID belonging to another person that appeared to be forged. He was arrested on charges of possession of a forged instrument and with unlawful possession of marijuana. The suspect was issued an appearance ticket to the town of Vestal’s court.

TUESDAY, APRIL 5, 2:33 a.m. — A 20-year-old male student was found by officers vomiting on the side of the connector road by College-in-the-Woods, Reilly said. The student said he had been drinking malt liquor and 40-ounce Big Bears. The officers called Harpur’s Ferry, but since the student was over 18, he took his option to refuse to go to the hospital.
