Joseph Biden is the Democratic nominee for president of the United States. Biden served as the 47th vice president of the United States during the Obama administration from 2009 to 2017 and as a U.S. senator for Delaware from 1973 to 2009. Biden is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania and received his Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law.
