Eve 6, a Southern California rock band best known for its songs “Inside Out” and “Here’s to the Night,” has been booked to play at this year’s Spring Fling, Student Association Vice President for Programming Aaron Butler announced Monday.
Butler put in an official bid of about $25,000 on Sunday and received confirmation that the band would appear Monday afternoon. Girl Talk, New Found Glory and the Plain White T’s were also being considered for the outdoor festivities, scheduled for May 2.
“I believe they have good appeal, probably more than Lifehouse did last year,” Butler said.
Eve 6 played at Magic City Music Hall in Johnson City in May.
Butler is also working to bring another major act to Binghamton University this semester. To find out some of the big names he’s considering, check out Pipe Dream on Friday.
