SA to host campus-wide semi-formal event
The Student Association is planning a semi-formal dance, scheduled for March 13 from 8 to 11 p.m. According to Jared Kirschenbaum, executive vice president of the SA, it will be the first campus community-wide semi-formal event. The event is set to feature a DJ and is expected to host between 500 to 600 students. The theme for the dance will be Old Hollywood, and it will also be open to students who live off-campus.
Senior T-shirts on sale
The Senior Class Council is selling senior T-shirts for $10 each. The T-shirts will be sold at Saturday’s basketball game, through word of mouth and in the New University Union. According to Hillary Kris, president of Senior Class Council, the T-shirts will be available until they are sold out. Extra T-shirts will be purchased and sold based on demand.
New program proposed to committee
Vice President for Academic Affairs of the SA Daniel Rabinowitz is presenting a proposal for an individualized minor program to the Innovational Projects Board. The presentation will take place at its committee meeting Feb. 26.
