Lock: NEW ORLEANS (-13.5) over Carolina: Not enough can be said about the Saints; they win ball games no matter what. They win in dominant fashion, they rally from huge deficits and they hang tough during close games. The defense has been making plays and even scoring in clutch situations. With the offense and the defense clicking, this team is too good and it is the best team in the NFL right now.

Dallas (+3.0) over PHILADELPHIA: The Cowboys have been firing on all cylinders the last few weeks. Romo has been solid and he’s been hitting Miles Austin with ridiculous frequency. On the other hand, the Eagles are coming off that gorgeous beatdown of the Giants. My money’s on Dallas’ thirst for the lead in the NFC East.

Baltimore (-3.0) over CINCINNATI: Revenge will be on the Ravens minds as they battle for divisional position. Baltimore’s defense can carry the team, but Flacco has been solid. However, the Bengals are a surprising team this season and they have legitimate wins against strong teams. But the Ravens really need this win to be competitive for a playoff spot down the road.

ATLANTA (-10.0) over Washington: The Falcons had a tough loss last week against the Saints and they will be looking to rebound against Washington. The Redskins have been too inconsistent and sport a 2-5 record with a fairly weak schedule. The game is in Atlanta, making this pick too straightforward for me.
