Watching the news can be a roller coaster of emotions. With tragic stories and heartwarming tales, one never knows what turning on the news will bring. Thankfully, there are some network anchors who are just physically attractive, so, really, no matter what the news is, even in times of great tragedy, it’s good news.
1. Brian Williams — NBC
Brian Williams is the epitome of a hot news anchor. Handsome, sharp and intriguing, Williams always keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. His inviting voice and kind smile make even the most tragic news stories glimmer with hope, and his repeat appearances on shows like “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” and “30 Rock” show that even with a serious job, news reporters know how to have fun. Also, have you seen his daughter Allison Williams on “Girls?” Dude makes some hot offspring.

2. Lester Holt — NBC
Talking about hot news anchors, one can’t pass over NBC staple Lester Holt. Not only has he gotten even more attractive with age, but the adorable glasses he frequently wears will make anyone with a Clark Kent fantasy swoon. Lester has brought us some of the most tragic news reports of our time, but he always remains positive, making us love him even more. Lucky for us, we don’t just have one hot Holt to tell us about our world, as his son Stefan is now the morning news anchor for NBC’s Chicago affiliate.

3. Anderson Cooper — CNN and CBS
There is no disputing that Anderson Cooper is a straight-up hottie. With shimmering blue eyes and luscious gray hair, it’s no surprise that people refer to him as “The Silver Fox.” Men and women alike get butterflies at the sight of Cooper, and his hard-hitting news coverage shows off just how sexy intelligence can be. Plus, every time he giggles at something on his RidicuList or holds a small animal on his talk show, another ovary explodes. Too bad you can’t have him, ladies.

4. Chris Cuomo — CNN
The brother of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Chris Cuomo brings a new level of hotness to the news. Not only is Cuomo a great anchor and reporter, but he’s also just great to look at. With a dazzling smile and twinkling eyes, listening to a story about the stock market crash has never been so fun! During his three-year run as news anchor for “Good Morning America,” viewers across the country got to enjoy their morning news while daydreaming about doing dirty things in the news room.

5. Rebecca Jarvis — CBS
Rebecca Jarvis is adorable. She’s the kind of hot that you just want to hug all day, but don’t mind thinking about at night. Before becoming a business reporter and then the host of a morning news program, Jarvis made it to the finale of the fourth season of “The Apprentice.” Jarvis is extremely intelligent, which adds to her charm, but we all know Donald Trump probably enjoyed looking at her. With a sweet smile and more knowledge about business than is conceivable, Rebecca Jarvis is the hot girl next door who is probably smarter than you.

6. Amy Robach — ABC
Since her NBC debut in 2003, Amy Robach has always been a hot news anchor staple. She’s charming, funny and just keeps getting hotter. Not only is she hot on her own, but she used to co-anchor with Lester Holt. NBC almost made televisions everywhere blow up with all that attractiveness in one shot. Even through tough times, Robach always makes light of situations, making us not only want to stare at her for hours, but also try to be her best friend.

7. Sade Baderinwa — ABC (NYC)
Sade Baderinwa is such a classic beauty that it’s almost unbearable. At 43, Baderinwa looks as fabulous as she did when she was 30, blowing the minds of viewers everywhere. With her signature sassy short hair and lovely demeanor, it’s a shock that Baderinwa hasn’t been put in a nationally syndicated spot. Besides simply being breathtaking, she is an Emmy Award-winning newscaster, so we know she is good at what she does. Baderinwa leaves many people with a tough question: Do I want to date her, or do I just want to be her?

8. Erin Andrews — Fox
Known for her work on ESPN, Erin Andrews is the hot sports reporter that men, and definitely some women, dream of. Not only is Andrews hot, but her knowledge of sports is incredible. She can hold her own in a male-dominated industry and handled a sex scandal with grace and the utmost dignity. Andrews is now considered one of the best sports reporters in the industry, based not on her looks, but on her credibility. Still, no one can deny that Erin Andrews is one of the hottest people ever to appear on news programing.
