A Binghamton University student is believed to still be in serious condition after he was struck by a car just before 10 p.m. Sunday as he crossed Bunn Hill Road.
According to Vestal Police, the student was crossing with a group of other students by the campus’ lower entrance. The car, police said, was legally traveling along the road.
Police conducted an investigation and accident reconstruction, and determined no tickets should be issued to the driver. The victim was sent to Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center in Johnson City.
Police did not release the names of the victim or driver.
