2008 survey: 27.52 percent indicated having been stalked

2006 survey: 17 percent indicated having been stalked

Of 40 respondents, 19 (47.5%) indicated having been stalked while a student at BU, up more than 41 percent from the 2006 survey.

Impact of Stalking:

Of 36 respondents:

15 (41.67%) indicated that the stalking perpetrator was an acquaintance/classmate

11 (30.56%) indicated that the stalking perpetrator was an ex-boyfriend/ex-girlfriend

5 (13.89%) indicated that the perpetrator was a stranger

3 (8.33%) indicated that the stalking perpetrator was a boyfriend/girlfriend

2 (5.56%) indicated that the perpetrator was a dating partner
