It’s good to be home.
The Binghamton men’s tennis team played its first two home dual matches this season and was victorious in both.
The Bearcats (5-8) defeated Colgate 6-1 Saturday night and Niagara 7-0 on Sunday morning at the Binghamton Tennis Center.
Junior Faisal Mohamed improved his singles record to 20-8 on the year, winning 6-4, 6-4 on Saturday and 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-3 on Sunday.
It was the first time all season Binghamton won the doubles point and back-to-back victories. And on Saturday, it was the first time all the year the team had a full lineup.
The Bearcats will look to keep the momentum going on the road when they face Lehigh on March 25.
