Student charged in night club assault

A Binghamton University men’s basketball player was arrested Sunday and charged with second-degree assault, a felony, after police said he repeatedly kicked a BU student in the head early Sunday morning in a Downtown bar.

A single-car accident resulted in the death of a Binghamton University student this weekend. The driver of the car, who was the victim’s fraternity brother, was charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.

Being a vegetarian and eating at the dining halls can be a little rough. Salads can get boring and while Sodexo offers vegan and vegetarian options, they often don’t look appetizing and are filled with onions, the vegetable bane of my existence. With the number of options they have I wasn’t too shocked in October when Binghamton University was named by peta2 as one of the “Most Vegetarian-Friendly Colleges in America.”
