The latest ITA national team rankings put the Binghamton men’s tennis squad at No. 75.

After winning six of their last seven matches, the Bearcats (8-4) return to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association polls for the first time since February 2011, when they were ranked 68th.

“It’s nice to be recognized for the work we’ve done so far this spring,” BU head coach Adam Cohen said, according to BUBearcats.com. “We still have a long way to go to reach our goals, but this is a start in that direction.”

The Bearcats have won six consecutive America East tennis championships. Their preparation for conference play later this season will continue this weekend with Saturday matches against No. 27 Columbia and unranked Fordham.
