2014 Hall of Fame Tipoff: How Binghamton got into the field

Notre Dame and Providence ... assembled a $90,000 guarantee package to entice BU to visit during the campus rounds of the 2014 Hall of Fame Tipoff. The Bearcats, who will open their season at Notre Dame on Nov. 14 before playing at Providence on Nov. 17, receive the money directly from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Wilfredo Rodriguez embraces status as role model

Wilfredo Rodriguez, who signed his National Letter of Intent with Binghamton’s men’s basketball team on April 16, spent the past year playing for Kehoe at Cheshire Academy in Connecticut. With Rodriguez taking home MVP honors, Cheshire captured its first NEPSAC Class B championship in 24 years.
