Paul Marco had been pacing back and forth for over three hours in 35-degree weather. His heart rate had likely jumped up to triple its normal pace and back again more times than he cared to count, and now he was drenched with the quickly freezing contents of a 5-gallon Gatorade cooler, as junior midfielder Danilo embraced him with a quick, "Sorry Coach, I had to do it."
