'Cats prepare for first playoff match

Bad weather forced the University of Hartford men's soccer team to wait
an extra 24 hours -- an eternity in playoff time -- to compete in its
first round America East conference championship game against the University
of Maine.
Williams
preserves win; steals pass late in game

Billy Williams saved a game that shouldn't have needed saving. Binghamton's
junior guard intercepted a pass by Devonaire Deas with 1:28 left to play.
That stopped a potential fastbreak that would have brought Upstate AAU
to within three points. BU never allowed its opponent any closer, hanging
on for a 102-96 men's basketball exhibition win.
