Officials nixed alcohol for Spring Fling

A petition to serve alcohol at Saturday’s Spring Fling was rejected by top BU administrators, disappointing event organizers who called alcohol a way to encourage more students to attend the daylong festival.

Four different climates are maintained to accommodate the 1,200 species of plants in the greenhouse. These consist of the warm temperate, the cool temperate, desert and tropical zones. Each environment contains its own unique flora, which are labeled with such useful information as geographic origin and taxonomy. Go to Article

The Binghamton men’s lacrosse team has faced several challenges this season, first overcoming the devastating events at Cornell, and then moving on to have a successful second half of the season. This Saturday’s 7 p.m. showdown at Albany should prove to challenge the men’s squad once again, as it will be a battle for the America East’s regular season title.
