Schneider is elected student president

Matthew Schneider was elected Student Association president late last week, following a runoff with incumbent Jordan Peck. Schneider beat Peck with 547 votes, or 53.79 percent, according to elections committee officials. Peck received 470 votes, or 46.21 percent. LAX Beats Vermont

Now, all that is missing for the Binghamton men's lacrosse is the storybook ending: an America East title. As the Bearcats defeated Vermont 8-7 on Saturday, they launched into the Binghamton record books. Their triumph guaranteed the Bearcats no lower than a second-place seat in the conference tournament, and the privilege of hosting the semifinal game on May 5. Go to Article |
