Men’s lacrosse team continues hot streak, clinches AE berth

Before the Binghamton men’s lacrosse team stepped onto the East Gym field Saturday, they had already accomplished so much. The Bearcats were riding a four-game winning streak, had already defeated nationally ranked UMBC and held the America East’s top position. BU also achieved some of its best offensive and defensive performances in the program’s history during the run.

A team of honorable contenders

Modesty is a rare trait in athletics nowadays. The smallest of accomplishments are celebrated excessively and how we celebrate seems to matter just as much — if not more — than what we are actually celebrating.
