Men’s basketball update

—The Bearcats signed 6-foot-8-inch Kraidon Woods from Arizona State. Woods will be have two years to play for Binghamton. According to the America Least Blogspot, he picked BU over UPenn and Niagara. Woods played forward for the Sun Devils.

— Corey Chandler is another highly touted commit to Binghamton. As former basketball athlete from Big East conference team, Rutgers, the 6-foot-2-inch guard averaged 11.9 points in 2007-08 and seven points in 2008-09. According to Scout.com, Chandler was ranked the No. 12 point guard in the nation and a four-star recruit in 2007. As part of NCAA rules, he will only be eligible to play for BU in 2010-11

—Former Bearcat Reggie Fuller is now playing for the Cuxhaven BasCats of the Division A League in Germany.

—Men’s basketball non-conference schedule includes schools such as Pitt, LaSalle and Dusquene. (See last issue.)
